Reaction Vessel

Reaction vessels are designed for controlled chemical reactions in pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, and fine chemical manufacturing, offering precise control over process conditions including temperature, pressure, and mixing. Available with heating/cooling jackets and agitator assemblies, fabricated in GMP-grade stainless steel and complying with ASME and GMP design standards.

Available Configurations

Every reaction vessel is engineered to order for the client's chemistry, batch size, heat transfer requirement, and regulatory framework. Jacket type, agitator design, surface finish, and MOC are selected together to match the process precisely.

Jacketed Reaction Vessel
Full-body double-wall jacket for uniform heating or cooling. Most common configuration for batch reactions requiring tight temperature control across the full vessel surface.
Limpet Coil Vessel
External half-pipe or channel coils welded in a helical pattern. Excellent heat transfer at higher pressures and suited for viscous or high-temperature media.
Half-Coil Vessel
Semi-circular coil welded to the vessel exterior in a helical path. High-pressure heat transfer medium flow with reduced dead volume and excellent thermal efficiency.
Agitated Reaction Vessel
Top-entry agitator with gearbox, mechanical seal, and multi-stage impeller for thorough mixing. Impeller type selected to suit viscosity and reaction kinetics.
High-Pressure Reaction Vessel
Heavy-wall vessel for elevated operating pressures. Full ASME Section VIII Div. 1 compliance, with pressure relief, PWHT, and radiographic examination where specified.
Customized Reaction Vessel
Tailor-made configurations combining exotic MOC, special internals, custom nozzle layout, and GMP documentation to meet any unique process or regulatory requirement.
